A Doctor in Chennai, Who Died by Suicide With His Wife and His Two Teenage Sons at their home on Thursday, Had Suffered Financial Losses Amouncing Amouncing to Rs 5 Crore.
The Victims were identified as dr Balamurugan, a prominent sonologist, his wife sumathi, a practicing lawer, and their sons, 17-yar-ol dasvanth and 15-yaar-ods. According to police, the bodies of dr Balamurugan and Sumathi was found in one room of their Anna Nagar West Residence, Who Sons Were Discovered in Another.
The bodies were discovered by the family's driver when he Arrived at their Residence on Thursday Morning. After receiving no response from the family, he alerted neighbors, who peered through the windows and saw the bodies. The police reacted the house and synt the bodies to Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) Hospital for Post-Mortem.
Dr Balamurugan Owned Several Ultrasound Diagnostic Center in Chennai. The doctor had suffred Heavy Financial Losses, Leading to Significant Debt. His wife, sumathi, was an advocate practice in the city court. Their Elder Son, Dasvanth, Was Preparation for His Class XII Board Exams, While his Younger Son, Lingesh, was in Class X. According to reports, Dasvanth was also prepaering for the neet medical account.
“We suspect they destroyed themselves. They were in debt.
The police are probing the financial records of dr Balamurugan's business to undertand where there was external pressures involved.
