Bengaluru-Based Startup Simple Energy Has launched the new simple one s Electric scooter in the Indian market, Priced at Rs 1.40 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The simple one s is essentially the rebaded version of the simple dot one, and the company says that that the rename come as a step to simplife its its nomenclature. Inteceded customers can book the scooter online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin song.
The simple one is offered in four color options – Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red. There are no changes made to the scooter, it continues to have sleek aesthetics and a commanding presence. One interesting fact here is that new model is priced at Rs 6,000 lower than the outgoing model. Talking about the battery, it gets a 3.7kwh fixed battery paired with an 8.5kw PMSM Motor.
It has a claimed range of 181km as per the Indian Driving Cycle or the IDC. (This is about 30 km higher than the dot one.) Simple says that the scooter can sprint from zero to 40kmph in 2.5 seconds; The Previous Model Took 2.77 Seconds. It has a top speed of 105kmph and gets four ride modes – eco, ride, dash, and sonic.

For braking, the scooter features disc breakes on bot the front and rear wheels. It has a seat height of 770 mm and offers a spacious under-seat storage capacity of 35 liters.
